Endowments and Other Funds
Athens Conservancy has two endowment funds, housed at local foundations. These long-term portfolios help provide sustainable support for our mission over the long term. Your gifts to either endowment fund are investments in Athens Conservancy’s future.

Memorial Fund for Land Conservation
The Selinde Roosenburg Memorial Fund was established in 2022 in memory of a passionate, local young woman and aspiring wildland firefighter. The fund supports Athens Conservancy’s land conservation efforts in southeastern Ohio. Selinde’s parents created the fund in memory of their daughter and to protect the forests and fields of Southeast Ohio for future generations.
Gifts to the Selinde Roosenburg Memorial Fund / Athens Conservancy Land Preservation are tax deductible and can be made through the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio here.
