By supporting Athens Conservancy, you become an important partner in conserving the beautiful lands of southeastern Ohio, and protecting the precious forests and hills we all cherish. These efforts are more crucial than ever today, as we work to help counteract the cause of climate change, and keep our planet healthy for generations to come.
Athens Conservancy is happy to offer a matching opportunity that will amplify the impact of your gift. Every donation made this fall to the Bluebell Fund or the Healthy Forest Fund will be matched dollar for dollar, thanks to a generous anonymous gift that makes this match possible. That means your contribution will go twice as far in support of Athens Conservancy’s work to protect and care for the forested lands in the Athens County area. The match is available only to donations to our Bluebell Fund (general, mission-centered use) and the Healthy Forest Fund (land stewardship). Here’s how it works. Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026, or while resources last, donations will be matched $1 for every $1 donation made to the funds indicated.

By making a direct donation using the online form on this page, you become a member of our Conservancy family. Your dollars go directly to local land preservation and forest stewardship, to support our mission to protect land and wildlife habitat, and to connect our community with nature. As a member, you will be invited to Athens Conservancy’s special events, and will receive our newsletter, and updates on our activities.
