You may have noticed that several of the trees I turn are from invasive species located in Southeastern Ohio. Invasive species, land overuse, and land misuse are a few of the issues that make it rough for our forested lands to thrive. The Athens Conservancy is a nonprofit land trust set up to create ecosystems that support native biodiversity. Through long range land management Athens Conservancy is working to make forests healthy and resilient.
