- This site offers maps in .pdf and .tif graphic formats, as well as data in shapefile and .dwg formats. The .dwg maps are of USGS quadrangle topo lines, and of property parcels by township. .pdf files are of property parcels by township, school districts, and maps of the county and Logan. .tif files are of property parcels by township and by city, subdivision maps, and miscellaneous other maps. Shapefiles are of roadway centerlines, property parcels by township, and benchmarks. This site also offers links to download viewers for .dwg files (these are CAD-system type files, and can usually be easily converted to shapefiles). The site simply provides the directories, and the computer user must choose the file and download it, often without much explanation.
- Shapefiles available here are Parcels, Addresses, Streets, Flood Hazards, Water layer, and CAMA Database.
- Only files available are Parcels shapefile and CAMA Database.
- Shapefiles available here are Parcels, Addresses, and Streets.
- This site offers various shapefiles prepared by ODNR. On the menu on the left, click on "Data and Metadata," then click on either "Search by Category" or "Search by County."
- This site has a variety of largely transportation-related data files. To get the files, first click the category wanted (it will highlight), then clock on the "Export Data" button and choose "To Shapefile" from the menu. After it finishes processing, then click the "Download" button.
- This site mainly points to downloads of OSIP (Ohio State Imagery Program) orthofotos, by County or by tile.
- This page points to DLGs, DOQQs, and DRGs, and DEMs derived from the United States Geological Survey. DRGs are scanned topographic maps. Each category explains what it is. DEMs (digital elevation models) at this site are presumed to be historical; the ones available at OGRIP-OSDI are presumed to be more up-to-date.
- This site offers OGRIP-LBRS data, including road centerlines, address points, intersections, landmarks, and railroad crossings. The basis of this information is public safety and emergency management.
- This site provides both maps and shapefiles for legislative districts.
- This site provides a short list of shapefiles having to do with utilities.
- The centralized data gateway for the US Department of Agriculture.
- A centralized data gateway for the Federal Government. However, this contains all kinds of data sets, and it may take some time to find shapefiles or convertible files that can be used.
